Case : 253.
The Occultist Elbert Benjamine (1882-1951, laterly called C.C.Zain) had been invited in 1909 by the leaders of the Hermetic Brotherhood of Luxor, an hermetic order was established by Max Theon in 1870,  in Denver to join them as successor to Minnie Higgin, who had been the order’s astrologer until her death that year. The surviving Council members proposed to Benjamine that he rewrite the order’s teachings in a systematic form as the basis for a new organization that would “bring occultism to the life of ordinary people.”. After five years of preparation and study, Elbert Benjamine began to hold meetings of this secret society. In 1918, the Brotherhood of Light opened its doors to the public, offering classes and course, in which the most famous is the 6th course book guide, The Sacred Tarot in 1915. The Brotherhood of Light Egyptian Tarot, published in 1936, designed by by Gloria Beresford, is the companion deck to this book, The Sacred Tarot
