Hermetic Order of Golden Dawn (H.O.G.D): MacGregor Mathers and Golden Dawn Tarot

Case : 249
MacGregor Mathers (1854–1918) was a British occultist and a polyglot: English, French, Latin, Greek, Hebrew, Gaelic and Coptic. He is also the lecturer of Kabbalah in Theosophical Society, Junior Substitute Magus of the SRIA. He is primarily known as one of the founders of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. His translations of ancient doctrines became the most important books of magic of all time as Book of Abramelin, Kabbalah Unveiled, Key of Solomon and Grimoire of Armadel. He was not only the Chief of the Second Order of the Golden Dawn, but the author of almost all of the important Golden Dawn teachings and documents. And the most famous are The Tarot, and exceptional Book T, the foundational document of all Golden-Dawn based decks, including also Waite Tarot, BOTA Tarot, Thoth Tarot, and all their derivatives. This very little book, however, is the most influenced document for tarotists than any books or documents which has been published by Golden Dawn.
