Stamps and Postcards Collection on Playing Cards

Case : 093. 
In the middle of 20th century, many countries consider that the playing cards is the very important national treasure. Belgium series Playing Cards (4 stamps), published in 1973, with its Belgium-pattern cards, is the first stamps series in the world dedicated for this culture. Monaco, a playing-card country,  with a stamps for the 5th Olympiad of Brigde, in 1979 and France, a bit later, with a stamps series Playing-cards (4 stamps), in 1984, proudly presented the symbol of French-suits. West and East Germany have published separately, in 1989, two stamps series presented the germanic Dondoft playing-cards. In 1989, Italia published a stamps series (9 stamps) dedicated for the French Revolution. Recently, Spain published in 1994 a series History of playing cards, each stamp illustrated one subject different: a Spanish-suits cards, an italian-suit cards, a French-suit and a divination card.
