Third corner-stone in Tarot’s occult through: Astrology

Case : 304.
Astrology plays a major role in the interpretation of Tarot cards and spreads derived from the spiritual Golden Dawn. It was always a important corner-stone of tarology from the later part of the 19th  century until the early part of the 20th  century. The application of astrological meanings established by the Golden Dawn spiritual tradition is somewhat specialized and structured specifically towards the Tarot and well accepted from 1900’s. Most of tarot deck actual follow this tradition or its derivation (ex: Tarot Arista, published by Grimaud, 1964). Very few innovation was established after that. An interesting idea from Tarot of The Holly Light of Christine Payne-Towler, used astro-alchemy system to illustrated the tarot concept, using 6th century images. Celestial Tarot of Kay Steventon use the myth and the metaphor of zodiacal constellations for the cards illustration. Cosmo Tarot is a coordination of the 100 artists in COSMOS Exhibition, to featuring the myth, of all modern constellations, planetary, astral bodies of the universe.
