Case : 162Tarot Nouveau continue to develop strongly during 20th century. But, most of them are simple, naive in artwork. A huge decks are the modifying with the photo image, mostly for advertising. Regional decks, for tourism purpose with photo of the top attractions, could be found everywhere in France, Belgium and Italy. The traditional manufacturer continue to publish many versions form the cheapest way to luxury style (Plasticized Tarot Nouveau deck, Grimaud’s Tiny Tarot Nouveau deck, Grimaud’s Tarot de Luxe deck). Very few interesting artworks like Tarot Hippique Et Loto of Jane Denant in 1982 or Tarot de Tahiti of Michele Feltrin in 1980, have been published during the last 30 years. From the beginning of 20th century, in many countries of South America (Brazil, Uruway, Mexico…), the tarot nouveau is used for divination also. One example is the Gypsy Oracle “Rural Scene” Deck which reused the Industrie und GlΓΌck tarock. It is published by Vigor S.R.L., in Boenos Aires in the 1950s, and then successive editions into the 1960s.
